There was meant to be an entry but this heat is making my brain melt.

1. what did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?: had sex, did cocaine, went to uni, met several interweb people, got a paying job.

2. did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?: I dont think I made any. Probably wont make any this year either.

3. did anyone close to you give birth?: A neighbour. That's close, physically speaking.

4. did anyone close to you die?: Nope.

5. what countries did you visit?: None.

6. what would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?: freedom.

7. what dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?: 24/4-radiohead concert! 4/9- Party. Much whoring and drug taking and also meeting Mr Sedaris. Later that month: tattoo & hanging out with friends, 17/12- navel piercing and hanging out with friends.

8. what was your biggest achievement of the year?: learning to not care what my dad thinks about me. My world used to revolve around this, this is a big step for me.

9. what was your biggest failure?: not having moved out yet.

10. did you suffer illness or injury?: nothing apart from colds.

11. what was the best thing you bought?: cds.

12. whose behaviour merited celebration?: Angela. You and you and lastly you

13. whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?: The australian public.

14. where did most of your money go?:. To my dad. Like $900.

15. what did you get really, really, really excited about?: my tattoo, my piercing, being able to vote. (shut up.)

16. what song will always remind you of 2004?: Sleater Kinney- Oh!, Where Is My Mind- The Pixies, Bright Eyes- Lover I Dont Have To Love.

a) happier or sadder?: Happier.

18. what do you wish you'd done more of?: avoiding most people.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?: not avoiding most people.

20. how will you be spending christmas?: bitching about how bored I am.

22. did you fall in love in 2004?: Nope.

23. How many one-night stands? That evolved to the point where we're still sleeping together. So no.

24. what was your favourite tv program?: John Safran versus God. And The O.C. Yeah I'm an enigma wrapped in a mystery. Or something.

25. do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?: a lot of people I met this year.

26. what was the best book you read?: I spent a lot of time re reading so this'll be hard. Um. Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix.

27. what was your greatest musical discovery?: getting on board the indie juggernaut. Shut up. It's going be a juggernaut cause I said so.

28. what did you want and get?: everything that I bought for myself. Radiohead tickets was the biggest thing.

29. what did you want and not get?: to be able to see Mr Sedaris (because sex is bad kids), for my dad to stop being such a hypocrite, world peace.

30. what was your favourite film of this year?: I saw like two movies this year. So uh... Garden State.

31. what did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?: I was 18 and I had my hand in a jar of salted cabbage. For real.

32. what one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?: Angela, here.

33. how would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?: ambivalent.

34. what kept you sane?: Angela.

35. which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?: Adam Brody. I'm still in love with Chris Cornell and have been since age 8 which shows dedication I think.

36. what political issue stirred you the most?: All of them. You people know what I'm like.

37. who did you miss?: Angela

38. who was the best new person you met?: this divine person.

39. tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004: The one person who loves me exactly as I am, no matter what is on another continent because God hates me. Not so much learnt, as repeatedly reinforced.
